Becoming a volunteer

Dernière mise à jour :

Becoming a volunteer to participate in clinical trials

Bordeaux’s CIC-P works in collaboration with hospitals and pharmaceutical laboratories under the supervision of competent authorities (the “Agence National de sécurité du médicaments et des produit de sante”, ANSM and the “Comité de protection des personnes”, CPP).

To carry out those studies, the CIC-P regularly searches for volunteers to participate in them. If you would like to volunteer, please consult the "Participate in a study" file, managed by the University Hospital of Bordeaux and complete the registration form.

When a new study begins, we look in the file of volunteers above, for those who meet the criteria for the studies. If you correspond to those criteria, we will first contact you on the phone and then suggest a meeting. During this meeting, a doctor will provide you with a comprehensive overview of the study, including its objectives, its progress, the terms and conditions for your participation, etc. You will be able to ask any question you want, and then decide whether you want to participate in the study or not.

Some clinical trials are compensated for the constraints they entail. The compensation is paid at the end of your participation in the study. If you participate in several studies during a year, know that the compensation total cannot exceed 4500 euros per year.
